Yes. The Griffin Center offers the patient an option for financing the hair restoration procedure through an outside financing company. A brochure is available upon request. We offer patients financing options using CareCredit®, an interest free (if payments are successfully met within the specified promotional period) line of credit. This national financing option provides patients with the choice of 6, 12, 18, and 24 month payment plans to meet your specific needs. There is no expiration date or minimum amount with CareCredit®.
Typically hair restoration procedures are considered cosmetic surgery and, therefore, are not covered by insurance plans. The patient is responsible for payment two weeks prior to the surgery. In rare cases, such as traumatic accidents or cancer reconstruction, insurance will cover hair restoration surgery. In these cases, The Griffin Center will discuss the insurance coverage protocol.
At your initial consultation with Dr. Griffin, he will evaluate your level of hair loss and discuss your goals and expectations. The cost of the hair restoration procedure varies according to the needs of each individual patient. The more grafts necessary to cover the balding area, the more costly the procedure. Dr. Griffin will discuss with you the most ideal session size based on your goals and your hair loss. We will give you a financial quote at that time. The price for each individual hair restoration session ranges from $4,500-$12,000, depending on the needs of the patient. Most patients require a minimum of two procedures no sooner than one year apart.
Keep in mind, fees may vary with each surgeon based on the surgeon’s experience and expertise. As a patient, it is important to feel comfortable with the skill of your doctor, and it is not always best to base important decisions solely on the expense.
